Pururth Cosmetics

Hello, lovelies!. I have been wanting to bring you this review for 6 weeks and I just kept having to push it to the back burner because well, life happens, and I’d rather put this special review up later than never. I hope that you enjoy this and find it useful.

This is a very new brand, just coming out. Truly natural and organic based skincare and makeup. Created by Professionals for professionals.  There is no website (YET) where you can purchase these items (BUT) if you follow on INSTAGRAM send  and I am thrilled to be doing this review. The owner is simply divine and she sent me these items specifically to review and I am honored to do so.

This is the Eyeshadow in Artic White Silver Sparkle. This so darn pretty!. Formula is wonderful, everything you would want in a loose, all-natural shadow.

Ocean Beaches Eyeshadow is a very nice, cool-toned light brown. This is a great crease shade, also works great for brows!.

This Cattail Brown shadow is a beautiful warm-toned medium brown. All of these loose, natural, shadows are made perfectly, seriously!.

Here is Copper Line, and just look at her!. WOW!, what a beauty she is to behold.

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, then you know that green is my most loved color. She is a pressed shadow, that I swatched without a primer and let me tell you, it feels like silk.

This Cheek and Lip Tint is so nice. It’s pigmented, creamy, and wears nicely. I have the shade, Pink Frost.

This small blue spray bottle had her Bulgarian Rose facial spray in it, which I used up in like 4 days because I loved it so much and I need more.

The last item is her Vixen, Face powder. This is a GEM in my opinion. It is translucent in color, yet somehow gives a soft-focus look to the skin. There is no point in photographing this powder because the camera WILL NOT show how it looks, on my skin, in natural light. Everyone has their own preference on loose face powders and sadly, the only way to know if a powder is going to work for your skin type is to put it on. I will not use a face product, and go use photo editing software to just make it seem like my face is flawless, hence why I have no picture. The powder is SERIOUSLY softer, and more finely milled than ANY other powder I’ve ever touched. According to the information I found in the description box, on the Instagram page, this is created using minerals sourced from Europe!!!!!!.

Well, that’s all for today, my dear followers. I hope you all have a great rest of your week. Be happy, be safe, be thoughtful, be grateful, be honest, be loving.

Sincerely Always, Amber Morris.

Makeup Worship Cosmetics

Hello, my lovelies!. How are you doing? let me know in the comment section, please. Life is good here at home. I’m homeschooling my eldest son, Joshua, which is in the 6th grade, and let me just say,”I’m fixing to be 33 years old and I’ve forgotten most of what I learned in school”. The topics covered in each subject have gotten much harder than what I remember doing, and I am learning with him.

So, this brand, Makeup Worship is another “new to me” brand and I couldn’t be happier about that. I just LOVE it when I stumble upon a brand I’ve never heard of, I just get so giddy especially when it’s an Indie brand no pun to the mainstream brands. The concept in which this brand is promoting wanting you to feel confident, and sexy, without shame, I’m all for that. Before we get to the products I will, of course, give you the back story because it is important for you to understand.

Korrie is the founder and here is what she has to say,” Since 2014 I’ve been working with my lab partners to develop a super sexy, playful, premium but affordable boutique makeup line. It took a lot of hard work but the results are better than I could have dreamed for. My goal is to make everyone feel confident and sexy no matter what your interests/gender/sexual preferences are. Guilt and self-doubt have no place in my life. From our humble headquarters in sunny South Florida, we have been busy creating a sensual boutique line of premium cosmetics designed for those who want to push boundaries and explore their sexuality .  We are a fetish-friendly company that encourages everyone to embrace what turns them on without shame, fear or guilt.  Let us help you feel beautiful, wanted and in control.Craft the look you want tonight.  Schoolgirl, Diva, Dominatrix,  Pin-Up.  Makeup Worship is designed to transform you into whatever role you choose.  Why limit yourself to just one look?  We use quality ingredients, bold colors, best-in-class foundations and eye and lip treatments to get you the attention that you crave. We are a family business and take pride in providing well-crafted products and the kind of customer service that the big brands could only dream of. Our cosmetics are: Cruelty-Free, Paraben-Free, Gluten-Free and, Made in North America

First I will show you the Lid Lusters, I have 2. You get 4 Grams of product for 16.99.

The Eyeshadow Primer I used is from Makeup Worship as well, which we will cover in a second. Damn I’m Hot loose pigment is SO beautiful.

You’ll Do is just as perfect as the previous one!. For me, personally, I adore loose shadows FAR better than most pressed, for a few reasons. Fist let me say if you open your jar with ease, and not carelessly the mess really will not be bad. If the pigment you are using did not come with a sifter, simply sit the pot onto a piece of paper, then unscrew the cap; that way you can taco-fold the paper and slowly pour the bit that spilled out into the pot when finished. Loose shadows have their high points: Apply them wet for a more intense color payoff and a longer lasting look. The pigmentation in a loose shadow is usually brighter, smoother, and longer lasting in my opinion.

This next item is a must have for me, which is the Seal The Deal Liner, here you get .125 Ounces for 11.99. In the picture below, it’s the small clear tube at the top. It makes ANY loose shadow into a completely waterproof liner, and what’s great is with this one is that you can dab a bit on top of your finished eyeshadow look to make your entire eye look waterproof. Doing this will not ruin your shadow, or make it crumble off, it’s a great product!.

Lastly, I have the Pregame Eyeshadow Primer  You get 0.20 Ounces for 12.74 but only for a LIMITED time, otherwise it is 16.99. This primer did a good job of keeping my shadows vibrant and apply to my eyes nicely. An added bonus for me is that it is going to even out the lid, taking away any veins, or darkness you may have.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and I hope you’ll come back to see me. Please, have a great fun and safe weekend my friends. Contact me anytime, hit me up in the comments if you like and tell me what you would like to see me do next!. I’ll do my very best to get every single request done.

Sincerely, Amber.

Amphigory Cosmetics Review

Hello, my loves!. How was your weekend?. Mine was full of craziness, lots going on, but it was great!. I am SUPER excited about this review, because this is an Indie brand that I just found out about. Today I will be reviewing 6 items that they make and sell, but I FULLY plan on getting some other things to review for you lovelies :).

Amphigory Cosmetics is a small company in Lafayette, IN. Comprised of two people, Zevaluz and Pazuzu, husband and wife. They carry a variety of items!. From Cosmetics, Incense, Oils, Wigs, Hair Color, and Jewelry for ALL your beauty needs, and I LOVE that!.

Firstly is the Eye and Lip Primer I love that you can use this on both lips and eyes, so convenient. This gives you an even pale-skin-tone base color, which is especially useful for bright or dramatic eye / lip colors. Safe for eye and lip area. Be sure to use separate applicators for eye or lip area and no double dipping.   I used this product under every lip products and eyeshadow I tested for this review. I think that a primer (some) are life saviors when it comes to the application, wear time, and the color payoff is generally much better off as well. You get 3 grams in a pot, with a screw top lid for 10.70. This amount should last you awhile!. My eyelids are not especially oily, nor dry, just “normal” so I cant speak for those who have excessive oily eyelids.

I really love their Metallic high shimmer LL Cream lipstain I have 2 shades. The first is  EMBER. A beautiful, beautiful Orange, with Gold flecks of shimmer.

If you have yellow undertones to your complexion, this shade will be dynamite on you!. It is creamy, with a very slight minty scent that I find refreshing. This wore on my lips for about 6 hours. It wore off wonderfully ,with no patchiness what so ever. After the initial “shine” went away I was still left with an orange stain that did not look dry, unless of course, your lips are dry, then I would recommend that you exfoliate first. The selection of colors are amazing, I really love them all. There are 13 colors as of today to choose from and retail for, 10.50.

This next color is called, Emerald City  and as you may know green is my most loved color to use in makeup!.

I love this one just as much as the Ember shade. This also retails for 10.50.

The next Item is one of her single eyeshadows, which are called, Bold Effect eyeshadow  I have the shade, Habitat . This shadow is so buttery, not lacking in pigmentation at all!. I need every color (eventually). They come in 11 shades, as of today. You get a whopping 3Grams for 8.50!. Also, you will find a selection of Glitter Shadows, 9 total for now.

Amphigory, Shadow

The next two items I will be reviewing are the Matte lipsticks The first shade is, Fireside. A gorgeous Blood Red that took me by surprise!. There are 16 Shades to choose from, you get 4 Grams of product for $10.00. Both of the shades that I have are NON-DRYING I was so impressed!. They glide on smoothly, and wear off in about 6 hours, but in a nice, even way that I look for in a Matte formula that is really hard to come by. They have a very slight sweet smell, just the right amount in my book. Also as an added bonus, the tops of the lids are clear!. I love that touch!. Just make sure you store them away from direct sunlight, you don’t want to ruin that wonderful lipstick!.

The Black shade, in Black Widow, took me by surprise the most. I  have never worn a black lipstick in my life, but knew I had to have it!. It’s just so darn creamy and pigmented!. I highly recommend that you use some sort of lip liner or primer, like the one I mentioned above as a base, for the best wear time and to prevent feathering. Wear time is going to vary, depending on what you will be doing, just the same as others. I just love the formulation, and that’s what makes me want more!. I am sorry for the contrasting swatch, my camera just could not get focused correctly for whatever reason. I assure you this is a very intensely pigment-packed black, there is no question about that!.

I hope you have found this helpful and exciting if you’ve never heard of this brand before!. I thrive on supporting, and spreading the word on small Indie Brands that I feel deserve the attention. I am happy to share this with you!. Until next time, take care of one another and come back to see me.

Remember- I also post on Instagram, my name is the same, Amberloveseyes12.

Eyes Of The Day using Kryolan

Hello My Lovelies!. I am excited about this post because I have never posted just an eye look. I hope you are all doing well. Things at home are good. I have been dusting all our furniture and nick-knacks pretty much daily because we happen to live on a very busy, dirt road and it somehow ends up floating inside, so that’s fun! (lol).

I recently became aware that the Makeup Brand Kryolan follows me on my social media accounts, I mean Snap Chat (Amberloveseyes) and Instagram (Amberloveseyes12).

I have no words for how exciting that is for me, I am honored. So in that respect I wanted to create a look using the U.V. Day Glow Palette that I purchased from them, HERE IS THEIR SITE Here is what I did;

I didn’t want the crease to be blended. Krylon is known for bold, amazing, different art forms using cosmetics, which I adore myself. Here are the products used.

The Liquid Liner I used is from L.A. Colors in Black. This liner is truly amazing, smudge proof and dries quickly. You can find this at your local Dollar Store and at most CVS Stores

Mascara is my new love; Hello Lashes from It Cosmetics.

Sea Green Auto Eyeliner from Jordana, in which I purchase at my local Walgreens.

From Kiko Milano, The Mixing Solution is a wonderful product that will make any of your loose powder products change into a liner, if you wish. I love it also for this palette because this is like a water color paint set and I find it better to use a Mixing Medium for a longer wear time and a much smoother application. Sadly when I went to their site so I could get the link for you I found that they discontinued this product!!!. MAC Cosmetics Mixing Medium is a nice one as well. Just in case you wanted to check out Kiko’s website, HERE

You go 🙂

On my lid I used a bit of the green, mixed in some of my liquid liner to darken it up. then did a cut crease with just the pink. I also used the Jordana Green liner for my brows.

On my lips I used from Jeffery Star Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Prom Night, which has by far the best formula of liquid lipsticks I have yet to try!. In the center of my lips I used Too Faced Cosmetics Unicorn Tears. This is a beautiful blue/pink/duo chrome lipstick.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and look. I am blessed to have a group of followers who connect with me, I will be forever grateful to each of you!. Until next time my Lovelies,

Amber Morris (I love eyes because Eyeshadow is my most favorite to play with).

Melissa Autry Monthly subscription box review

Hello my dear readers, I hope you are all doing great and have some fun on the weekend.

Today I am showing you what I received in Melissa Autry new beauty bag. She is widely known in the You Tube community as *Melmphs knows makeup……. You can purchase this bag at http://www.reelstyle.co/ it is 15.00 for the bag, shipping is 4.95 as it ships from Canada.

You get 4 items in each bag ranging from hair things, eyeshadows, and lipstick from what I gather. So let’s take a look at what I got!.

This baked eyeshadow trio is nice. The lighter gold shade is not as buttery feeling as the other two but, still very pretty. Here are some swatches for you.

The next item were these comfy hair ties.i do like how these are made, they will probably not be as damaging to your hair like a normally made hair tie would. Here is what they look like.

Sea salt spray, something I have tried from several other brands and I love how they tend to make my hair look. I have not been able to use this, I will get back to you!.
And finally the hydrating lip balm. At first I just assumed that this was just a normal lip balm, as it says but when I opened it I was shocked to see that it was a bright red shade!. Oh my this is super creamy and has a sweet smell. Here is what she looks like.
Now here is my overall opinion. When you get your bag you are not given any type of card with the individual prices of the items which is because I amuse you cannot order these items individually on their website which is a bummer for me.
I am happy to support Melissa as she is someone I have been watching on You Tube for several years and I feel that she is a genuine woman with good values. I hope you have found this enjoyable to read.
Honestly always your makeup lover, Amber Morris.

Tips on using not so pigmented eyeshadows

Hello my dear readers, I hope you are all doing well, and Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

I wanted to shed some light on all of the random 100 eyeshadow pallets that you can get from pretty much any cosmetic company for a price that’s next to nothing, where some of the shadows are so chalky, non pigmented, and refuse to blend, among other things. But we all have them, or at least I have a couple. For instance this one here in the picture below is elf’s 100 eyeshadow palette that they do not carry anymore but they do have one that is similar to it if your wanting one and you can find it here
  1. Crush up the shadow with a small toothpick or something else tiny like so

2. I just used a cuticle pusher to scoop out the pigment and placed it carefully in a small container like so,

Then I just put some water into a small squeeze bottle, like a fast food ketchup bottle with the long nose ya know?. Place in a few drops at a time until the shadow had a creamed texture.

This was the final result after a couple minutes of mixing. I tried this with a mixture of the highly popular glycerin that everyone raves about using to make your loose shadows more intense and once the shadow dried it just crumbled and broke apart on my arm swatch which looked horrible!. I was just so shacked that using plain old water made these shadows smooth and the pigment more intense. Here are a few others I did

I hope you all pull out your not used so much eyeshadow pallets and do this because I think you will love the result and not feel like you have waisted your money. Take care everyone!. Until next time, Always your makeup lover, Amber Morris.

Stargazer Cosmetics

If you have looked at any of my previous posts you will find that I adore this cosmetic company for the good quality, nicely priced, and fast shipping especially since they are shipping from in the U.K. The first item I want to show you all is this beautiful Star Pearl Artic Blue pressed eyeshadow

The swatch just doesn’t do justice!. It is a buildable shadow that can be a light shimmery blue or full on opacity in two layers. These shadows like most of Stargazer’s shadows are 3.00 for 3.5 grams which is a steal!. You can find this shadow Here

The next item I want to tell you all about is their cream shadow. I have a couple shades and I love them all. They glide on like butter and when they dry you can trust that it will not move until you take it off.

These retail for 3.50 for 5.5 grams!. You can find these Here

And last but certainly not least for today is their liquid liners. I love them!. They all have a finely tipped brush-style applicator. These are not waterproof that is the downside, but, they are very pigmented and when they set, they are budge proof unless you get wet.

These retail for 3.00 for .8 grams!. You can find them all Here

I hope you all have found this useful. Have a great day my dear readers.
